We thought our Quirky Birdhouses were out of the tree - but check out these works of art!
They are part of an installation called Super Kingdom based in Kings Wood, Kent.

Remember don't forget to salute Mr Magpie if you see him!
Last month we made a post about the Photographer Denis Darzacq and his amazing photo's of people seemingly floating in weird spaces, like in the middle of a supermarket or falling from buildings. Well look away now if you don't want to know how it was done!

That's right! We did a bit of searching and found the answer. Originally our Firebox design team were sure that the Photographer had taken two images of the same area: one photo with no one in it, another photo with somebody jumping on a trampoline with the trampoline in shot, then merged the two photographs and erased the trampoline out. A time consuming process!
Well the answer is actually easier then we thought. It seems he got the help of some amazing young dancers from Paris. We were all fooled but its actually a nicer answer and makes his images even more powerful.
See for yourself!
We were almost blown away
Balloon Guy lives in Utah, but if he could nip over to London and make us a giant Mario we would be well chuffed!

Our Firebox design team have their fingers on the pulses of trend. When they're not cutting around images of new toys and gadgets and making amazing looking catalogues, they are laughing at other people's failed attempts at trying to use Photoshop.
Photoshop is a professional image-editing and graphics creation software from Adobe. It provides a large library of effects, filters and layers which can work miracles on any image. But put in the wrong hands and it turns into a disaster, a public disaster in some cases.
Photoshop Disasters is a cool website which goes out of it's way to highlight some of the biggest mistakes found in magazines, billboards and the web. Ever wish you could cut off the limbs of every pupil at High School Musical? Ever wonder what that celebrity would look like with a 1 inch waist and a massive head? Then you've come to the right place.
