The Twitterverse Thinks Google will pay $507m to acquire Twitter

With rumours circulating about Google being in late-stage talks to acquire Twitter, we asked Twitter what they thought the final cost to Google would be, while offering a shiny prize for the correct guess:

"Google buying Twitter? Guess closest $ price, winner gets $1 to spend at @firebox for every $1m. Tag guesses #firebox"*

Responses so far have ranged from "three goats and a cow" to $billions. The current mean average from @firebox followers (not including animals, sorry Daisy) is $507m.
