New Product Test Helps Fireboxer!
We had the opportunity to test out a UK exclusive... and stock controller Matt Shone jumped (or ran) at the chance to trial Droidwear's SatNav Shoes. Matt is a semi professional runner - he's even represented Great Britain in various long distance events. He runs twice per day roughly covering 80-90 miles per week! He also isn't always conventional when it come to his training as quoted by one of his club mates: "Lunchtime runs would often include a stop off at the curry house to pick up the week's lunch supply, so the run back would be 2 or 3 miles with a carrier bag full of curries."
So instead of running his usual route we dropped him off in the middle of Woking - so all he had to do was put in the Woking postcode then his home postcode... and start running. The shoes did the talking (telling him where to go) while he did the w.. running!

Apart from a few near accidents with cyclists Mr Shone did pretty well and he seamed very pleased with not having to worry about the route. "These shoes are great - I no longer have to spend time planning routes and memorising them - I can concentrate on thinking about my tea whilst running!"
