Under The Table, Drinking Black Label

Finnish artisté, Mari Kasurinen (link!), is an amazing (and literal) plastic surgeon - but you won't find her reworking Michael's nose or Katie's bosom. She's more at home sculpting Fizzy's hooves or Galaxy's mane to resemble famous pop culture characters from movies, cartoons and music.

Morph Animation Competition

If you’re a budding animator or just have a thing for Morph, you’re going to love our new competition. It’s a film festival with a difference, as every entry must feature the lovable plasticine character and be in stop-motion animation. Apart from that (and films being less than 2 mins, we’re not looking for epics), there are no limits to what you can do. We’re seeking the weirdest and funniest Morph adventures to impress Aardman (the creators of Morph), who are helping us with the judging process.

We have some amazing prizes for the best entries...

1st Prize
One lucky winner will get a one-off signed original sketch of a scene from their film by Peter Lord, Creative Director of Aardman and co-creator of Morph. The sketch will be framed in a gold-disc style with a plaque.

2nd Prize
A copy of Stop Motion Pro6.5 High Definition software worth £429.99 (as used by Aardman), and an Animation Station.

Runner-up Prize
An Animation Station

Wooohooo! It's Friday! It's scientifically proven that Fridays are longer than all other days of the week*. To help you make the hours pass before all the weekend shenanigans can start we have put together a list of our favourite FAIL's this week.

CHOCOLATE FOR EVERYONE!

Check out the new Aero ad:

Shot at the 40,000 square foot Lake Cunningham Skate Park in San Jose, California, the advert features 50,000 balloons that were blown up by 12 people over four full days. Each balloon was then placed in the skate park, to create a bubble-filled environment.

Now we want to feel the bubbles, too. Naturally, our skateboarding skills are already second to none (how else would we get around the Firebox warehouse?), so the next stage is the deliciously floating chocolate.

While we can’t actually make chocolate fly, what we are going to do is bring you a little bit of chocolate-y magic: we’re putting a free Mint Aero bar in each parcel we send out. Ain’t we lovely? Order anything and you’ll get a brilliant, minty chocolate fix. Tasty…
